Tour de Helsinki, the crowning of the cycling season, is a yearly event that brings together all varieties of cyclists from pro racers to easy-going commuters. The start and finish of the event are at legendary Olympic Velodrome, built for the Helsinki Olympic Games in 1952. It is an edifying experience for every participant to arrive at the finish line in the historic Velodrome after 140 kilometres of cycling through Helsinki's suburbs and surrounding countryside.

Tour de Helsinki 2014
Eventually 2071 cyclists enroled to this year's event, of which 1815 started and 1768 finished. Laura Vainionpää (Kauhajoen Karhu, FIN) won the women's category, second time in a row, at 3.33.46, and Oskar Nisu (CFC, EST) the men's category at 3.30.30 (43,9 km/h). This is a new Tour de Helsinki route record. The team category was won by Team Kivenlahden Pyörähuolto at 14.12.27. Results »
