TdF in English

Tour de Helsinki was an annual cycling event that took place from 2007-2015. The event saw a massive growth in popularity, and what started as a group ride became one of the premier cycling events in Finland. In 2016 however, a decision was made by the organizers not to continue, and TdF went on hiatus.

Tour de Helsinki welcomed both competitive riders, including some professionals, and casual commuters and cycling enthusiasts. Years 2011 and 2012 saw over 2000 cyclists participating, with road bikes, hybrids, commuters and even some recumbents.

As far as we know, there are currently no plans for resurrecting the event. The largest cycling competition in Helsinki today is the Helsinki Velotour, organized since 2016. That event has two routes: 150 km and 75 km.
